Alissa Gardner is a serial entrepreneur rooted locally, but has an international reach. Recently bringing a national franchise to the Corridor, Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Corridor, Alissa proudly brokers the area’s newest woman-own real estate franchise.
Alissa was selected as one of the Corridor Business Journal's Forty Under 40 for the 2018 class of honorees.
While providing excellent real estate services with a forward thinking mindset (#expectBetter) Alissa’s heart beats fast for helping others, which is why she created Commission of Hope: a give-back program in which her agents’ donate a portion of their commission earned at the time of closing to a non-profit or charity of their clients choice.
Alissa lives on an Iowa recognized Heritage farm with husband Chad and 5 children. They have chickens, cows, 2 dogs, and 4 cats. Together they enjoy family walks on the gravel roads, road tripping in the John Deere Gator, swimming and fishing in the pond, and campfires almost ever night. “It’s like taking a step back in time when you come to our farm.” Alissa says. “We do family dinners together as often as we can and Chad reads to us as a family a lot. We also don’t have a TV, so most people think we are a little nuts…or Amish lol.” She says they are “too busy kickin’ ass to watch TV” so they haven’t had one for years.
Alissa joined The Dostal House to be surrounded by other women who are “movers and shakers” and she hopes to “bring as much growth and support to the other tenants businesses as she does her own.”
